I am in love with this perfume; it is so addictive. I request to the makers to launch extrait de parfum.

This perfume is quaint and intriguing.
It’s feels like something you know but yet you don’t understand, it’s like reading an old book and the story unfolding as you turn the rusty and crumbling pages.
Make the walk to Murasaki bookshop and get lost in the mystery and the allure of a time lost in the pages of history.

The perfume is unique and makes me nostalgic. Only a small complaint can be related to its duration. It can be a longer lasting one. Overall very satisfied with the product.

I recently discovered this brand... Must say, they have some unique scents and aromas.. I have tried other scents as well and have a few favorites from the brand.
Murasaki Bookshop is a unique and woody aromas and those tea notes. This is definitely not a scent for everybody. It has a deep yet very comforting aroma. Gives you the feeling of cuddled up in a blanket with cup of hot tea and a book.

Oof, it's been some time since I blind-bought this based on notes alone, and I'm still trying to figure her out. A confusing scent to say the least. The smokiness and sweetness are at odds with each other like a couple after a lover's quarrel; just doing their thing in parallel instead. The smoke is heavy and mysterious, a bit dusty even. The sweetness is overwhelming, like an overly-iced pastry left out for too long. I wish it had some warmth in the vanilla; I often layer this with SDJ 59 to enhance the note. I do like the photorealistic wood note. Still have hopes that my nose will come around to this. Definitely not for everyone!

The perfume is good, but isn't long lasting. It isn't exactly the old book smell as advertised. It's there but not the same smell. It should be tweaked

It's a really nice perfume. Got it as a gift for my partner, and amongst a collection of 60 bottles, she said it's one of the best. I am sold on that.

A wonderfully earthy scent that lingers with gravity. No syrupy sweetness here.

I got this for my husband and he/and I love the fragrance.. the packaging was so lovely - tiny details.. the scent itself takes you back to memories of pages turned while creating new memories when wearing it.. makes for a beautiful gift so I’m going to be shopping here more often!

The scent composition is great as well as the longevity (though I wanted a bit more time on it) perfect for everyday night ..

Completely unique and signature worthy. I got this as a sample and went on to buy the bottle. I wasn't fully drawn in by the opening, it was weird but interesting. But after 20-30 mins, it settled into an evocative woody gourmand, and the weird became addictive. Tiramisu, wood, smoked vanilla all of it together sings this dark, deep, goth song. This one actually stays on me for 10+ hours easily.

Whoever made this I hope both sides of your pillows are cold. They last long. I tested them out by applying thrm just before a heavy 2 hour gum session and it was still going strong after

Wow! Firstly I loved the packaging like it was done with so much love. Then I loved the fragrance. very unique. And the aroma it leaves behind it mesmerising. Smokey , oudhy, subtle. It’s a very fine fragrance I have felt in a long time unlike the standard commercial brands.

Excellent notes of various ingredients blended well. Makes one reminisce of bookshelves with hardcovers in good bookshops.

It is unlike any of the perfumes I own , the smell is subtle , Smokey and leaning towards oud which I personally appreciate as very strong projection scents give me headache. I also loved the detailed and beautifully done packaging with notes and samples shared for upcoming product. Looking forward to order more.

This kind of scent is new to me but I am loving it!

This was my winter fragrance and I wore it to bed many nights as it made me feel warm and cosy, like being a mountain cabin where a roaring fire made from cedar wood has just simmered down before bedtime, and there's a glass of whiskey and an old book on your bedside table. (A real memory). I am a sucker for smokey, woody, musky perfumes and this was a 10/10 for me. The name alone is so lovely and evocative.

Great , I received the email to give review just the day i was wearing this perfume. So here’s my honest review.
At first when i bought this perfume it’s smell felt a bit odd ( not bad but not the smell you expect, like kind of different you know like when some iron is rusting )
But but when i got used to this perfume i love the smell now.
Would definitely recommend if you want something different as your signature perfume ♥️

Didnt really like Murasaki Bookshop. Match magniteque was the only perfume that stood out for me.

Quaint, light and quite mesmerizing with an old world feel. Definitely a favourite.

Heavenly fragrance

The scent is beautiful, but not long lasting at all. Would love to be able to smell it around me atleast for a few hours.

Love the backstory. The actual fragrance falls short of promises. This is a very familiar low end smell, and nothing that I personally found that connects the story with the perfume. And moreover, for an EDP, it is not even long lasting. Understanding that perfumes are a very personal and subjective subject,I am giving an average score.

The perfume was absolutely refreshingly beautiful..the notes were unique and not sharp like oud ones..blend was great and I loved every bit of it..even my wife :)
