Eau de Parfum | 50 mL | 1.69 fl Oz

Smells like
Think of this fragrance as sitting somewhere between Diptyque’s Eau de Lierre, with its green, dewy freshness, and Bvlgari’s Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert, with its gentle tea serenity—while Poets of Kyoto leans more contemplative and airy. It blends cool green tea, soft citrus, and whispering herbs, like a quiet morning in a Kyoto garden after the rain. It gives off a sense of calm clarity—fresh, meditative, and effortlessly graceful, like verses drifting on a breeze.
Feels like
Wearing this feels like a quiet walk through a Kyoto garden. Tea garden, soft citrus, and gentle herbs wrap around you like morning air. It’s fresh, clear, and thoughtful—like a slow breath or a drifting poem. Calm and graceful, it stays close, like peace on your skin.
The Story
They didn’t seek fame or followers, nor did they care for the rush of city life. Instead, they lived in a serene village surrounded by bamboo groves and still ponds, where time seemed to slow down. Their days began with the soft light of dawn, as they gathered by the water, writing simple, clear poems about the beauty of life’s small moments. The sway of a tree branch, the ripple of a pebble dropped in a pond, the scent of rain—these were the things they captured in their words.

Unique and interesting. It is light, watery and spicy at the same time. One I feel confident wearing and could over spray even when I’m not feeling 100%. I think I’ll always keep this in my collection.

  2. Harinder Singh

It is good, not very outstanding or loud. Decent fragrance for everyday use.

  3. Aruna P

It’s such a nice, clean, and fresh scent. In my opinion, its vibes are “you woke up early and took an everything shower, and it’s a clear, warm, and breezy spring/summer day, and you spend the day relaxing outside while drinking iced lemon green tea”. Just one thing I wished it had was better longevity, lasts decent 5-6 hours, but wished it lasted little more.

  4. Rengarajan

Tried the sample of all 10 perfumes this house offers. Poets of kyoto feels fresh and greeny ! Not too strong nor too light. Wish the projection is better.
felt like a unique fragrance for me. Ordered the full bottle now.

  5. Trishala

Poets of Kyoto is the signature scent I’ve been looking for all my life.
I love my cookie cutter florals and fresh scents, but this is so much more than that…
It’s layered, subtle and very nuanced – it truly manages to transport you to a Japanese bamboo orchard, or to their tea terraces. I feel like this is the kind of scent that you’d gladly love to have wafting behind you all day, because it would make your day better and somehow make everyone who gets a whiff of it feel calmer and more balanced.
