Smells like
Think of this fragrance as sitting somewhere between Diptyque’s Eau de Lierre, with its green, dewy freshness, and Bvlgari’s Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert, with its gentle tea serenity—while Poets of Kyoto leans more contemplative and airy. It blends cool green tea, soft citrus, and whispering herbs, like a quiet morning in a Kyoto garden after the rain. It gives off a sense of calm clarity—fresh, meditative, and effortlessly graceful, like verses drifting on a breeze.
Feels like
Wearing this feels like a quiet walk through a Kyoto garden. Tea garden, soft citrus, and gentle herbs wrap around you like morning air. It’s fresh, clear, and thoughtful—like a slow breath or a drifting poem. Calm and graceful, it stays close, like peace on your skin.
The Story
They didn’t seek fame or followers, nor did they care for the rush of city life. Instead, they lived in a serene village surrounded by bamboo groves and still ponds, where time seemed to slow down. Their days began with the soft light of dawn, as they gathered by the water, writing simple, clear poems about the beauty of life’s small moments. The sway of a tree branch, the ripple of a pebble dropped in a pond, the scent of rain—these were the things they captured in their words.

Okay, the packaging is brilliant! I have never felt or seen this much of personal touch towards packaging in any company(Point of attraction for me).
The size of the bottle on the website or social media page isn’t accurate, a point of reference or mentioning the quantity would help the future customers alot.
The choice of perfume was also a bit personal as I prefer a lowkey one rather than a loud one. At first, it felt very strong and the presence of alcohol was very evident…but the moment that first impression faded away, I got the clarity of the real thing and I must say that I have never been more satisfied with a first time online purchase of perfume. I was skeptical to buy it as I won’t get to try it out. But again, I have never been this proud of a desicion that I made.
Looking forward to try the other ones as well…and I really hope you guys can survive.

Absolutely beautiful fragrance. It opens with gentle florals and tea, and then the bamboo and oakmoss kicks in. It puts you in a calm, serene mood. Great gift idea. The scent is Unisex but more suited for women.

I was bombarded with the promotional posts of this perfume on Instagram. Gradually, I did became interested in the scent. The story line and the description, all resonated with me. I finally received it as my Birthday gift. And I have to say, it did not disappoint.
It’s a perfume I apply for myself. Top notes of the perfume are my favorite. But I do love the overall composition.
I received it in the monsoon season, so the longevity is affected, but other than that, it’s a great perfume.

Perhaps one of the best and unique perfurms I have ever come across. It’s difficult to describe it, but I think Kanzan has done a great job in the description as well. Just two sprtiz on the pulse points, the fragrance lingers all day. Definitely will be one of my signature scents.
