“Secret Lover”, A cozy and intriguing fragrance

Eau de Parfum | 50 mL | 1.69 fl Oz

Smells like
Think of this fragrance as sitting somewhere between Tauer Perfumes’ L’Air du Désert Marocain, with its golden fruity-amber glow, and Maison Crivelli’s Hibiscus Mahajád, with its floral-sweet shimmer—while Paramour leans more sultry and skin-warmed. It trades loud sweetness for a glowing, ambered airiness—that signature mix of saffron, woods, and soft candy-like warmth. It gives off the same addictive trail: luminous, sensual, and unforgettable, like a secret lover’s presence that lingers long after they’ve left the room.
Feels like
Wearing Paramour feels like someone’s touch still on your skin—warm, soft, and unforgettable. It’s golden saffron, smooth woods, and a hint of sweet air. Not loud, but deep. Like a quiet fire or a secret glance. It stays close, lingers long, and feels like a memory you want again.
The Story
They exchanged notes—tiny treasures tucked into books and pockets, each word a promise. Scribbled in the margins were dreams of adventures yet to come. But as dawn approached, reality pulled them back. The soft glow of morning light hinted at the day ahead, filled with responsibilities they couldn’t ignore. They parted with sweet, lingering kisses, hearts heavy yet hopeful, each farewell a silent vow to meet again, to keep their love alive in the spaces between the ordinary.

The Name
Paramour, meaning “secret lover,” is all about the hidden moments and whispered promises that make love special. This love stays with you, soft and lasting, like the memory of a kiss shared in the stillness just before dawn.
When to Wear
Best worn on date nights, rooftop dinners, late-night parties, or after-dark walks—anytime you want to feel magnetic, warm, and unforgettable.

The oud is better than I expected for the price. Oud for Greatness by Initio is one of my favourite perfumes but it’s polarizing and masculine leaning. This is Oud for greatness without all the weird complications and added sweetness. Perfect for people who want to get into Oud but don’t know where to start.

Beautifully balanced, unisex, and I have no idea how they managed to turn a caramel saffron white floral oud into a light wearable scent but they did. 11/10. No notes.

  2. Ritu Baruah

Complex scent with a mix of sweet, metallic, and salty notes

  3. Trishala

This is a very sweet, gourmand and more feminine leaning fragrance.
I gratefully received a sample of this with my purchase and was pleasantly surprised.
I’m not one to even try perfumes with these notes and yet I found myself taking multiple whiffs of it as the scent evolved on my skin.
It starts off as perhaps too syrupy for me, but mellows down into a more layered smokey, yet somehow floral fragrance.
I feel like thanks to this, I might be expanding my fragrance preferences. Who knows?
